The thermostat on my Kenmore refrigerator needed to be replaced. I called Sears repair. How low they have fallen. The phone operators are in a foreign country and they must be paid to sign you up for a $250 year long contract that covers all parts and labor for one year. Other wise it is $65 for the repair man to come and parts and labor. According to the repair man, replacing a thermostat is a 15 minute job. How much could the labor be? How about $128.
