We received a letter with an enclosed check. What tipped us off was the T-Mobile USA logo on the check. No where in the letter was T-Mobile mentioned. The amount of the check was $ 4, 700.00 and the letter stated that the purpose of this check is for the payment of Canadian Non-Resident Government Service Tax (GST). Ofcourse we were excited as both my husband and I are currently out of work and with the unemployment at an all time high we are in financial distress.
