I accepted an offer for a BofA credit card through a professional organization at 9.99%. After I started using it, I made a late payment and went beyond the limit twice. My interest was raised to 26.9%. I complained through my professional organization and the interest was reduced to 9.9% once again. I began paying every other week, and didn't use the card.
