I was told to be eligible for the Home Affordability Program by the loan officer. I'm trying to lower my 1st mortgage payment to help pay for my 2nd mortgage. They can accomodate my request without appraisal, but with $400 upfront processing fee and $4200+ closing cost on a $90, 000 refinancing. This seems a bit excessive. After bailing them out, this is more gouging than helping. read full review »
