Santander acquired Sovereign bank over the summer so my car loan was moved. I have had nothing but grief from the start. Customer service is AWFUL. I have been trying to make additional principal payments on the loan and every time I call they have different requirements. First I am told ANYTHING above my normal payment would be applied to principal. I send an extra payment along with a letter and they say "NO!
