I purchased a brand new Kenmore washer and dryer set in August of 2007. I chose this store and brand because my family and friends have used them for somewhere around 50 years. At this time, both the washer and dryer are not working. I spoke to several people at Sears and they will not help me out with this because I didn't purchase an extended warranty. If this was 4, 5 or 10 years from now, I would understand, but this set is obviously defective and I have been ripped off. I do not have $200 for them to come out just to look at the set and I don't feel that it is fair to expect to have to pay this much when the set is less than 2 years old. read full review »
