Like others, I received a letter from american express stating my interest rate would be increased as a result of "the business and economic environment". What a bunch of SH**. I contact the consumer line and initially spoke with Monique ID#38662 - she continued to say she had the authority to decrease my interest rate but just wasn't going to do it.
