In these crazy economic times when we've given trillions to bail out banks and companies, I called Orchard Bank and asked them to reduce the outrageous 29.95% interest rate on my credit card. They politely told me to go take a hike. Do NOT sign up for a credit card with Orchard Bank, part of HSBC (Household Bank) if you do not plan on paying your bill in full each month. The interest payments will kill you. What is worse, if you go to their website and apply for a credit card, they have a banner that says to apply and to "receive low APR credit cards". read full review »
