I saw someone else got the same letter and check I did! When I called the phone number listed in the letter it sounded like someone with a Carribean accent answered. The details are about the same as the other person's report listed here. I did not cash the check but googled the name of the company and the Montreal address and came across the scam report. The letter and check arrived at my home in Dallas, Tx on Wed. April 2nd. The bank on the check says Wachovia Bank of Georgia, Augusta, Georgia. The amount on the check was $4700 and I was advised to deposit it, use it for tax purposes, and wait for the second check of $200, 000. read full review »
