Half the fun of watching a movie you have control over is having the control over it. VHS players and cheap DVD players have always had frame advance and slow motion features in both forward and reverse. The Panasonic BluRay BD6O is one of the few BluRay players that has frame advance or slow motion at all - but not in reverse - forward only.
