While trying to make a flight from D/FW to PDX, I encountered the most unprofessional airline employee that I have met. After waiting 10 minutes to get assistance, the check-in "supervisor" informed us that we were 2 minutes too late to check luggage. I understand that there are certain rules to be followed, however, this was a Sunday morning and there was not a single other person waiting.
