I booked a 5-day car rental thru hotwire.com on Tuesday, January 6, 2008, 10 days before I was scheduled to pick-up the car, and paid for it as required. The very next day, Hotwire sent me an email saying the car rental rates for NYC had dropped. I went to their site and found out that the rental that I had made the day before was $104.00 cheaper.
