The following is a letter I wrote to Pickwick Hotel back in July, 2009 and have never heard back from them on this issue. We made reservations to stay in the Pickwick Hotel in Custer, SD because the directory said the hotel was new, had laundry facilities and we were told that they allowed pets. When we arrived on June 12 we were informed that the hotel had only been opened for 4 weeks, the manager had decided pets were not allowed but they made an exception because we had made prior reservations.
