Bought a maytag refrigerator in Oct of 06. Stopped cooling on Aug. 28, 2009. Repair man said the relay switch and the compressor are both burned out. Est. cost to fix, 500.00 to 650.00. Thousands of maytag refrigerators are under a recall for the exact same problem, but since our model is not, they will not fix it. Very poor customer service-they actually hung up on my husband when they found out that our frig. is not one of the recall models. read full review »
