We signed up with AmerAssist to help with our debt. Many promises were made, but we had to force them to make payments for us. Plus their "fees" for "negotiating" payment plans were WAY OUT OF LINE. They kept making excuses about their computer software, which was new, made these errors and they would correct them. We never once received a correct statement. They promised they were in touch with our creditors but never were. We ended up in worse shape then we were and they cause a lot of problems for us.
