I just wanted to alert everyone to one of the antics of Allegheny Power. I moved into a small 1 bedroom apartment in a rather large apartment complex. Since this was my first time with Allegheny Power, and AFTER checking my credit rating, they wanted a large security deposit of $182. My credit rating was 799 and they still wanted $182 for a security deposit! They said that they would give that back to me if I kept a perfect on-time payment record for 1 year.
