My husband had an aspire account for 2-3 years. And today 12/11/2008 we received a letter stating that account will be terminated but was still expected to make monthly payments. My husband called and was told that company made a 'management decision' to close all accounts because of bad economy and that interest would still be included in payment. So..they close a good account for no reason and then still expect a monthly payment AND interest. What a rip-off. Do we as consumers have any say in any of this.
