AVOID HUGHES NET! Like others I had a choice of dial-up or satellite. Their commercials are misleading -- the only "high speed" is their elite package which is almost $200 a month! I've also had to deal with FAP's and been unable to do anything for 1 or 2 days until they released my account. I'm finally in an area where I can get wireless internet (I knew cell towers had to be good for something!) and tried to cancel my Hughes account after 18 months.
