We started our loan process in December of 2008. They made it sound like our loan was fully approved and they run all the approval and underwriting in advance to ensure loan placement and a successful refinance. Not at all the case, 4 months into the process our "property valuation report" was in review, it $8000 deposit to get a 3 page report that any high school student could duplicate...
