There are times when the airline will not honor a fare after it has been booked, or they come back with an alternate price. Cheapoair tires very hard to confirm the original cost, but at times we are unable. The complaint is regarding a higher fare, it appears that the 2nd airline quote was valid, for he mentions he went to American Airlines directly and they paid $50.00 less, that is because Cheapoair.com charges a $25.00 per person service fee. So in essence, we did not make up a fare of $400.00 more, because it seems the blogger actually paid this much with the airline directly! read full review »
