I am a borrower and a consumer who have paid AmTrust an appraisal fee of $340 to have my home appraised. I was not happy with the pricing I got with my broker so I decided to go with another broker. My new broker saved me some money using another bank and the new lender will accept the appraisal ordered by AmTrust but Amtrust is refusing to release the appraisal to my new lender.
