Suffice with the following bullet points: 1) Despite a friendly marketing pitch, CapitalOne is a cheap, profit-motivated company that will stop at nothing to hit you with extra charges and deny service whenever possible. 2) I was held hostage (literally - the police were involved) and forced to sign a credit card receipt.
