A screen popped up on my computer telling me that my computer was infected with a virus which needed to be taken care of immediately. The screen appeared to be from Microsoft and seemed real. I was offered antivirus software. After purchasing it and giving my credit card number, the screen disappeared and there was no way to download the software. It was obviously a scam.
