I received a call last October to enroll in an extended warranty for my Nissan Altima. Since I had recently paid my car off, I felt this was a good option. When they called, the salesperson made it appear as though he was calling on behalf of Nissan and so I went ahead with the scam. Unfortunately, it was only a few weeks later that I heard many negative reports on the news regarding these warranties.
