My mom died this past year and I took care of her for three years prior, she had alzheimers and it was a hard job. My dad was in a nursing home prior to her becoming ill and we had to go check up on him constantly because we could not trust the nursing home. We thought by taking care of my mom that her home would not be taken away. Our daughter moved into her home after she moved in with us and has since married.
