I had purchased a Fedders 1.5T Window A/C on April'07 in Gurgaon, India. Within three months of its use, the a/c had a gas leakage. Upon complaining with their local office, they started negotiating as to how much I was willing to pay towards service charges, when the a/c was well within the warranty period. Eventually by the time our a/c was repaired, winter had arrived. So the device lay unused for next 7+ months.
