My American Express payment was less than 30 days past Due. I had contacted AMEX last week to make arrangements and was told they would put me on a payment plan and to call them back when I could make the first payment. Less than one week later I received a call from a collection agency requesting full payment of the balance. In addition, I was told that the default interest rate was as much as 37%. I received no call or message from AMEX prior to them sending it to collection. read full review »
