Bought car throught a local dealer and applied for a loan through Chase. On the delivery date, the car was damaged. The next day the entire transaction was cancelled and my $5, 000 deposit plus another $250 in registration fees were refunded. On 8/29, receided a letter from TDBanknorth postmarked 8/24 saying my car loan on 8/10 was denied based on data from Experian. Called Experian and they provided and complete report of 29 pages with NO derogatory comments - perfect credit. There is no obvious reason for TDBanknorth's refusal. There... read full review »
