We were contacted by Steve, who mentioned he had 2 to 3 buyers lined up for our timeshare. The amount they were willing to pay sounded too good to be true, more than 4 times what we had it listed for, and it had not sold in over 2 years already. They mentioned that they could send us a contract, and to get the process going, and to show the buyers we were serious, we would have to give them a credit card number so they could charge $1997 in fees.
