Early in 2008 I elected to transfer my remaining business debt to Advanta at a rate of 3.99% for one year. The balance was $7250. I rarely used the card. My business was suffering as of late. Not unsual these days. I accepted seasonal work to offset the lack of sales. I was two days late (first time as a business owner with any creditor) because my paycheck arrived two days after the due date.
