They charge a high fee and promise that they will deliver birth certificates and other vital statistics certificates in an expedited fashion. However, they provide no added value. I received a notice from NYC that the information on my birth certificate application via Vital Chek was incomplete I contacted VitalChek to ask them to make the correction. I was told "it is out of our hands now, contact NYC directly."
