My mother came out of a nursing home on August 18, 2009. She is supposed to have her blood taken once a week to determine coumadin levels. The first week she was home, a technician was sent to our home to take her blood. They were supposed to continue to come back to monitor her blood. Two weeks passed without a visit from another technician. When my mother went to her next doctor's appointment she was scolded for not having her blood taken and took it there.
