I received a water bill for the month of August in the amount of $293.93. The total amount of usage they say? 80, 540!!! I have a family of 6 and average 6-7000 gallons per month. When I called this exorbitant bill into question, I was told I must have a leak. After having that chaecked, I requested the meter be inspected. I met with a great deal of resisitance, only to finally have somone come out and tell me that they had never seen a meter malfunction and then go back to working.
