I recently became unemployed. I have a mortgage loan with BOA. I contacted them in July 2009 and applied for their Financial Hardship program. I submitted all the required documentation within 2 business days. Their representative told me I had to wait 30 days for a response. Thirty days later I was informed that my application was denied because my income is from "unemployment benefits". I called numerous times to ask for reconsideration.
