i live in west virginia but i was drawing unemployment from the state of maryland. i have been layed off since march of 2008 and have applied in person or via the internet for more than 100 jobs without any luck. my complaint is what is the government going to do for those of us who have exhausted all of our unemployment benefits but were drawing from a state whose unemployment rate is only around 7.4 per cent. it just isn't fair to those of us that were drawing from a state that doesn't qualify for the unemployment extensions because the state unemployment rate is below government standards. what are we supposed to do? read full review »
