On January 25, 2008 I purchased a WEN Power generator from PEP Boys Auto at 601 Sunrise Blvd in Fort Lauderdale. On July 28, 2009 I noticed a small oil leak in the engine casing, on a generator which has never been used except for monthly start-up. The Owner's Manual states the unit has a two(2) year warranty. Following instructions in the manual, I contacted WEN Power. They stated the generator was counterfeit, the manual a forgery and would not honor the warranty.
