Here is a story of a man who goes around the North Texas area bidding on jobs and keeping the money. I hired this man to put in a patio, drain system and plants. His bid was OK and he was a very pleasant man. I decided to do business with him. My contract was for $4200 with $2100 as a deposit. We made an agreement to start in three weeks. He never showed up.
