USPS left a package worth $200 at the end of my driveway when I was out of town. I have a locked gate. The package was too big to fit in the mailbox so the carrier decided it made sense to leave it on the ground 20 ft away from the mailbox next to the locked gate. I contacted the carrier. She apologized and she remarks that the package was gone the next day. I told her that it is quite obvious that it was stolen.
