In July 2008, my 2007 Nissan Murano started smoking when the engine was started. I took it to the local Nissan dealer (where I purchased the vehicle). They found "nothing wrong with it." In November 2007 I started hearing a rattling noise and took it back in. This time they said there was very moderate sluding in the motor. I was asked to provide receipts of my oil changes; I did so.
