I've had Hughesnet since August 2008. I was told it was lightning fast. What a joke!! I can't tell any difference in theirs or dial-up. When I called to complain, I was told that satellite is not as fast as Comcast. Not what I was told when I was signing up. Also told me if I cancelled after so many days, a large charge. Was never told I had a thirty day guarantee and could change my mind. Of course, Hurricane Ike struck here just around my 30 day time and was without power for 9 days.
