I live in the Caribbean and purchased a La Cornue oven from France in 1995. It was built for propane gas, no electric ignition because I wanted to keep things simple knowing there was no one to service the oven here. I have had continual problems with the pilot lights(there are 2). They keep going out when I am not using the oven and when I turn the oven on, it might stay lit for a while but then the pilot and gas go out.
