I was an AMEX member since 1991. Gold, Platinum, and charge card. Spending on the card in excess of 250K over that time. Never defaulted and paid all my balances...I was shocked that all 3 cards were cancelled recently, because I was considered a risk...Wow!...what a wake up call of who I was doing business with...I will never do business with AMEX and try to boycot any business that does take the AMEX card.
