I had a bill due to American Express for about $1, 500 on 9-29-09. I do not carry a balance on the account. The amount due was the total on the card, with a minimum due of $30.00. I went online to pay the bill in full and had previously set up all three of my checking accounts on file. I paid part of the bill from one account and went to pay the balance of the bill from another account.
