Not buying consumer electronics goods from Sony would be the safest option if one wants to avoid being cheated!! I recently bought a voice recorder from Sony showroom for Rs. 6000/- After just 2 - 3 days I realise that the battery given with the voice recorder is a bad one and gets discharged within just 15 - 20 mins even after charging it fully!
