I purchased a Walmart money card at the Madison Walmart. I paid $38.00...35.00 loaded on the card and a 3.oo fee for the card. The same day I gave the money card to a child as a birthday gift. No...I did not read the microscopic print on the back of the card that says u must "activate" the card by going to a website or calling a number. Nor did I realize that the "activation code" was on the receipt! Needless to say...I certainly didnt give the kid the receipt.
