My Whirlpool refrigerator conked off on thursday 24th of September 2009. We made a complaint to the call centre and were assured that an engineer will come home the next day to check the fridge. The engineer did come home the next day. He checked the refrigerator and informed us that the compressor is blown and that the fan will need to be replaced and gas refilled.
