My2005 Nissan Sentra started to spike on RPM's and overheat. I took it to my mother's mechanic, he thought it would be spark plugs that caused it. Cleaned it and then added some anti-freeze/coolant to the car. It was ok for a week or so then did it again. Actually went out one morning to start the car and it would not turn over. I called and had it towed to a Nissan garage. Imagine my suprise at 65, 500 miles that the head gasket was blown.
