Purchased Sears refrigerator in March 2008 that started acting fluky in May 2009. Had item inspected in July; diagnosed as failed electronic control board ($300 to fix). I believe Sears installs faulty parts like these that have known life expectancies of just beyond 1 year - Latent defect. Sears then extorts customers for a "1 year extended warranty" for 25% of purchase price. read full review »
