It started on December 1 or 2, we took our gateway computer to computer genius to have more memory added and they said we needed a new mother board at a cost of $ 243.93. when we got it home and booted up it seemed fine. When I shut it down ( start/shutdown )everything seemed fine. Next morning when I tried booting it up it would not boot. Took it back was told it was the hard drive.
