I reserved a car for Oct. 2, 2009 at the Avis Rental at Sears in Acadiana Mall in Lafayette, LA. This location closes at 5:00 pm. When I arrived at this location no-one was available. I asked the gentlemen working in Sears if Avis was closed and he told me yes. Another young man told me to knock on the door, but no-one answered. I called the 800 number for Avis and spoke to someone with reseverations and customer service and all they kept telling me was that they were sorry but there's nothing they can do to help me.
